Luis Sabino

Owner / Head Hitting & Fielding Instructor

Luis Sabino brings over 20 years of coaching experience across all levels of baseball, from youth development to high school competition. A former player who competed at the AA level in Puerto Rico, Coach Sabino combines firsthand playing experience with decades of teaching and mentorship.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to several respected programs, including Florida Vipers Baseball (his own brand), CBU, The Clubhouse, SBA, Canes Florida, and currently 5 Star Mafia. His passion has always been centered on the training and long-term development of athletes, helping guide numerous players to the collegiate level, including Division I, II, III, and JUCO programs.

Among those he has mentored are his own sons: Dimitri Sabino, currently playing Division II baseball at Coker University in South Carolina. In his first season as a transfer, Dimitri has earned a spot in the lineup in every single game played so far, making an immediate impact at the collegiate level. His younger son, Nathaniel Sabino, a high school junior competing at the highest level with the premier team of TNXL Academy and verbally committed to the University of Arkansas, one of the nation’s top Division I programs.

Coach Sabino is known not only for his deep knowledge of the game and ability to teach it, but also for the lifelong relationships he builds with his players. His philosophy is simple and consistent: “Keep smiling — this is just a kid’s game.”

Patrick Schuster

Head Pitching Instructor

Patrick Schuster is a former Major League Baseball pitcher and Florida native, born in New Port Richey. A standout at J.W. Mitchell High School, he gained national recognition after throwing four consecutive no-hitters and recording a 20-strikeout game, showcasing elite pitching ability at an early age.

Schuster was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 13th round of the 2009 MLB Draft, beginning a professional career that spanned multiple organizations. He made his MLB debut in 2016 with the Oakland Athletics and later pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Throughout his professional career, Schuster developed as a left-handed pitcher known for his competitiveness and ability to adapt, progressing through every level of professional baseball, including Triple-A and the Major Leagues.

Now, Schuster brings his high-level playing experience and professional insight to player development, helping pitchers refine their mechanics, improve arm care, and compete with confidence on the mound.

Paul Coumoulos

Hitting Instructor

Coach Paul brings experience in both collegiate and professional baseball. He was selected in the 2017 MLB Draft and has built an impressive baseball career marked by multiple achievements, He was the 2019 Futures League Home Run Derby Champion and later earned several honors during his collegiate career, including being named the 2021 Sunshine State Conference Batting Champion and receiving All-Region and All-Conference recognition that same year. In 2022, he was recognized as a Preseason All-American. Coumoulos has played three professional seasons, compiling a career batting average of .288.

Mike Butler

Strength & Conditioning Coach

An informative and relationship-driven Strength & Conditioning Coach with experience across collegiate and professional athletics, he is deeply passionate about developing complete athletes through high-level performance training. His approach emphasizes recovery, mobility, power, stability, and strength, creating well-rounded athletes prepared for long-term success. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Kinesiology) with an emphasis in Sports Performance from Florida State University, along with minors in Nutrition and Sports Psychology. Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to performance programs at Five-Star Sports Performance, Arsenal Performance Training, and within a professional Minor League Baseball system, while also serving at the University of South Florida and St. Leo University. Known for building strong coach-athlete relationships, he designs personalized, results-driven programs that maximize performance while reducing injury risk. Guided by the belief that humility and discipline drive true greatness, his coaching philosophy focuses not only on athletic development, but also on character and mindset.

Samuel Ramirez

Pitching Instructor

Samuel Ramirez is a former four-year varsity player and All-Conference pitcher from Bay City Central High School (MI). After signing with Garden City Community College (KS) in 2004, he overcame a season-ending injury and Tommy John surgery to continue his collegiate career, later advancing to Saginaw Valley State University in 2007.

Ramirez served as Varsity Pitching Coach at Bay City Central from 2009–2020, where he helped develop 11 collegiate athletes and became Driveline Baseball certified, further expanding his expertise in player development.

He currently works as a Florida recruiting coach for Bryant & Stratton College and as a pitching/assistant coach with Five Star Tampa. Ramirez lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife, Jessica, and their two sons, Robert and Rickey. 

Lillian Greico

Academic Counselor

Lillian “Lilly” Greico is a Florida-certified educator with more than three decades of experience in the field of education. Throughout her career, she has served as a public school classroom teacher, teacher trainer, curriculum developer, and university professor. In addition to her professional background, she has spent nearly 15 years as a dedicated home education parent. Lilly’s expertise includes guiding academic pathways, maintaining records, and managing transcripts for NCAA-bound student-athletes. She and her husband are proud parents of three sons, including a professional bass angler, a JUCO/Division I baseball athlete, and a high school dual-enrolled student-athlete.
